02What we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:
- your name, phone or WhatsApp number and email address
- details you share about your studies, such as results, transcripts and English test scores
- passport details and, for visa applications, financial and family documents
- what you type into our forms and chat assistant
- basic technical data about your visit, such as your device, browser and the pages you view

03How we collect it
Through forms on this website, our chat assistant, event registrations, phone calls, emails, WhatsApp messages and visits to our office.
04Facebook, Instagram and Messenger
When you message our Facebook Page or Instagram account, comment on our posts, or fill in a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta passes us what you sent: your name as shown on Facebook or Instagram, your message or comment, and the details you typed into the form (such as your phone number, email and study plans). We use it only to answer you, to arrange counselling and to follow up on the request you made. Our assistant may answer simple questions automatically; a counsellor takes over whenever you ask or the question needs a person. We do not sell this information or use it for anything unrelated to your enquiry.
05How we use it
We use your information to:
- give you counselling and answer your questions
- prepare and submit your university and visa applications
- remind you about appointments, deadlines and events you asked about
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations
- understand how the website is used, so we can improve it
08How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.
09How we protect it
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorised access, change or disclosure, and we limit access to the staff who need it.
10Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- delete information we no longer need
- stop sending you event or marketing messages

11Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time, including messages and details that reached us through Facebook, Instagram or Messenger. Email info@globalvisionbd.com or send “Delete my data” to our Facebook Page, with the name and phone number you used. We confirm the deletion within 30 days. We may keep a record only where the law requires it, for example for payments.
12Students under 18
If you are under 18, please involve a parent or guardian before sharing documents with us. We welcome parents to every step of the process.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
